If you are facing a medical emergency, you should dial 911 or go to the emergency room.
For non-emergency but still urgent mental health concerns, consider reaching out to crisis services such as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Hotline (call 988), the Benton County Mental Health Department (https://health.bentoncountyor.gov/crisis-services), or the Linn County Mental Health Department (541-967-3866). Younger LGBTQIA+ folks might also reach out to The Trevor Project (thetrevorproject.org) for support.
Okay, one more thing. If you’re looking for gender-affirming providers in the area (in more fields than just mental health), check out some of the resources provided by the Mid-Willamette Trans Support Network (midwillamettetsn.com) in Corvallis.
To set up an appointment or free 15-minute consultation, give me a call or send me an email including the name you go by, your pronouns (like she/her, they/them, it, ze/zir, or he/him), your insurance provider, and a brief description of what you're looking for from therapy.
Keep in mind that email is not a secure method of communication, so please limit the amount of sensitive information you include.
For clients, we use an app called Spruce Health that allows us to text/call your regular phone number or use secure in-app messaging. When you call our number, that is where your call goes. You can download Spruce here.
